Dear Friends,

Thank you for your efforts during the 2007 Dover CROP walk held last September. With your help, your local CROP Walk raised nearly $12,000, up from $7,033 in 2006. Kent Ecumenical Food and Crisis Fund and Whatcoat UM Soup kitchen were the beneficiaries of 25% of those funds. In addition, we doubled the number of walkers to 165.   To see some photos of last year's walkers, click here.

According to Church World Service statistics, we already are the No. 1 CROP Hunger Walk in Delaware. Thank the Lord for our achievements so far.

I, along with Sue Hunt and Dorothy Gampp, recently attended the annual Crop Walk Forum held in Vienna, VA and we returned more excited than ever about the possibilities for our NEXT Crop Walk. The 2008 CROP Hunger Walk is scheduled for September 28, 2008.

Please save the date if you enjoyed the experience last year because we definitely would like to have you ( and some friends) back for 2008!
